Hey guys, today we're going to be talking about Pinterest because something exciting happened this weekend.
I honestly could not believe it but I reached 2 million average monthly viewers on my Pinterest account to million and within just a few days. I was up to a 2.1 million average monthly viewers Pinterest account at my is growing like crazy now. So I wanted to shoot this video for you guys and share some tips and tricks on how you can grow your Pinterest account.
What? I did to my Pinterest account and just share my experience because let me tell you what I didn't 1 million average monthly viewers on Pinterest. I was like what I could not believe it because at that point in time, I think I only had maybe around 5,000 Pinterest followers. Maybe not even and to be reaching 1 million people on average a month is insane and I'm reaching 2 million people on average a month. That's crazy. So, let me give you a little bit of perspective now. I have about almost 7,000 followers on Pinterest.
My Impressions my website my average daily Impressions to the pins leading to my website is about 14,000 people. So every single day 14,000 people on average are seeing the pins that actually lead to my website and then I'm getting around like 200 250 clicks to my website every single day. So I want to say thank you to you guys each and every one of you that follows me on Pinterest or even if you found my blog Pinterest maybe from a YouTube channel on Pinterest. Thank you for honestly just being on the pictures platform and finding me there that's really helped me to get to the point that I am at today. so today Today, I want to drop some tips on you guys.
I want to share a little bit of a Pinterest knowledge and about exactly what I did to grow my Pinterest account. I also want to talk a little bit about what those average monthly viewers what that means and how you can actually grow your personal brand on Pinterest meaning your pins that actually lead to your website. So let's go ahead and get into it before we get anywhere. You've probably heard of average monthly viewers on Pinterest and if you haven't it's a little statistic that peers on your Pinterest profile. It also appears in your analytics and it means how many people you're reaching every Month not was just the pins that lead to your website, but all of your pins that you have curated on your Pinterest account all of them. So I think I'm up to like 30,000. No, I think I'm up to 20 mm. Maybe pins shared on my profile.
I think I'm somewhere around there and all of those pins combined just my Pinterest account is reaching 2 million people on average a month. So I don't want you to get confused and think that it's just my personal brand pin. So the pins that are leading to the content bug it's not it's every single pin that I have shared on my Pinterest account. So some people say that that statistic isn't really important and honestly, you will probably see a lot of articles on Pinterest. I've seen some that saying like you shouldn't pay attention to that number. But to me, I think it is important that you pay attention to that number on Pinterest.
It's not really about the number of followers that you have sure the more followers you have kind of the better you'll more of an opportunity to reach those people like you a set number of people that you would reach even though with the algorithm and everything. It's kind of crazy. I don't want to get in that today's video. So your followers aren't necessarily as important as they would be on. Instagram or like your subscribers on YouTube that's not the way that Pinterest works and the average monthly viewers to my opinion.
I think it's important just for the visibility of your platform now, I do think that one of the statistics that you really need to pay attention to is the Impressions that your pins are getting to the pins that actually lead to your website as well as the clicks that you are getting to your website if you have a million average monthly viewers, but you're getting 10 clicks to your website that is a not good at all and that visibility isn't helping you just reaching those people is not helping you. It also clear visit a problem with your pins, maybe your PIN description or just your strategy leading to your website
. So let's talk about my strategy. I have definitely changed my strategy over time when it comes to Pinterest obviously the painters algorithm keeps changing. So whenever it changes I make adjustments to my strategy, but if you've read any of my blog post on my website, I've got three resources for you that you would probably enjoy. Well. Actually, I have a ton and I'll just include them in the description bar down below one is talking about how I went from 7K average monthly viewers only 7,000 to 100,000 average monthly fee.
On Pinterest and other one is how I went from a hundred K to 600k monthly viewers on Pinterest. And then I also have another one that you would probably be interested in and it's talking about why I tanked my Pinterest account. So when I was just about to hit 200,000 average monthly viewers, I totally tanked my account. I purged it wiped it pretty clean. I like kind of got down to its bones and then I built it back up. So if you're interested makes you check those out in the description bar down below, but way back in the day. I turned my pictures come from a personal account to a business account. It was the count that I was using. From high school, honestly, so everything was shared on there.
I'm talking food Fitness Beauty Instagram photo ideas photography ideas quotes. I even have like, you know, the typical wedding planning board I of course, of course I had that so when I transformed that account into my business account, I really needed to Niche down and I took that very seriously and I got rid of anything that didn't involve my nation. I started creating boards, like entrepreneurship tips all blogging tips. Grow your blog. got social media and then I break it out into Pinterest Instagram Facebook. Email marketing. I have so many boards just revolving around my Niche because that is the audience that I wanted to attract.
I wanted to make my Pinterest account a place where people in my audience someone like you could go on Pinterest account and find the resources that they needed even if they weren't my website if they weren't the resources leading to my website, so I completely Niche down my Pinterest account got rid of the boards that were just kind of fluff got rid of them and Niche down now over time. I would have to say one of the big reasons. Ins one of the big factors that got me to reach two million average monthly viewers was changing that perspective and not following that Niche down mindset which is a bit crazy, but I was so Niche down and I was talking a lot about digital marketing for a while.
I was stuck around 600,000 average monthly viewers and I couldn't really figure it out and then I started sharing some photos. I started tearing flatly photos because it started talking about flat lays because I shot my own flat lays. I share them on my Instagram account. They're all over my blog so created a board. That was all my flat light inspiration and then it moved in a home office inspiration and then it moved into Instagram photography inspiration and all three of those boards combined. I have to say dramatically Gourmet account because I was creating content that people wanted to see and I moved away from the mindset of oh, I want to share the resources that my audience needs into.
Oh, I want to share the ideas that inspire me that I think my audience would be interested in as well. So I kind of moved away from here's just a ton of information to hear some things like also really like that are relevant one thing that you could do if you want to go Your Pinterest account is create boards that are relevant to your Niche relevant while you were talking about but they are popular subjects more. So when it comes to my strategy though, I am pinning around 30 to 40 pins a day.
I would say forty to fifty percent of those pins are my pins leading to my website and that strategy is really working for me. I pin automatically I use tail went to win is huge for me and I honestly think it has been a huge factor My of Success on Pinterest especially Tailwind tribes. So if you haven't gotten started with toe and yet they do have free trial that you want to For I'll include a link in the description bar down below. Tamara has definitely helped because obviously I can't go on Pinterest. I can't spend that much time on Pinterest pinning 30 to 40 pins a day. So being able to do it automatically for Tailwind is huge. But then I also go in and type in manually that is a big thing that Pinterest changed several months ago. Honestly at this point.
They want to see you pinning manually on Pinterest so I go in about every other day and I paid couple pins manually, but I have to say another big thing that helped me to grow my Pinterest account was creating more blog posts. and sharing more manual pins uploading more pins to the Pinterest platform. So follow my YouTube videos. This YouTube video included is actually a blog post on my blog as well. Almost every single one of my YouTube videos get turned into blog posts and then I pin them on my Pinterest account obviously, so that results in about three new pins leading to my website every single week and I do think that that has dramatically help to grow my own visibility. My website's visibility on Pinterest as well as just the visibility on my account because Pinterest Happy sharing new content with them. And honestly, I'm just expanding the reach my website by adding more resources that could be to my website if that makes sense. And then of course I could never forget Pinterest SEO.
This is absolutely huge when it comes to Growing your Pinterest account. If you not done any research on Pinterest SEO yet you need to do your research because Pinterest SEO is so important and it really comes down to your keyword research. So if you're not forming keyword research on Pinterest you need to do that as well. I do have a video on that which I include and the description bar down below. But Pinterest is a search engine and if you're not treating it like a search engine and then you're not going to help your visibility on the platform. So you want to make sure that you do your research and make sure that your profile is looking a nice looking fresh has the appropriate keywords in your name and your pictures description in the board titles in your board descriptions.
And in your PIN descriptions and in the pins that you were leading to the titles of the pins that you are leading to that's dramatically going help you printers profile as a well as applying for Rich pins getting your website verified and just doing the basics. Bill Basics to get good with Pinterest now when it comes to the pans leading to my website, there are a few things that I have done differently over the past few months that I want to share with you guys on how I help them grow because I really do think that some of my most recent pins are performing pretty well on the platform and they have helped me to go up from that 100 clicks a day to 200 clicks a day on Pinterest. So the very first thing I did was I started writing descriptions that are 500 characters with each pin. You can include a 500 character description and if you are not using That that space you are wasting an opportunity on Pinterest and reality.
That's what it is because Pinterest operates based off keywords. It is a search engine. It runs based off keywords. And if you're not including the keywords in your Pinterest description, or if you're just writing on one sentence description without any keywords, you're not helping the visibility of your pins. So writing longer descriptions. I'm making sure that I'm using up all of the space available to me and including the appropriate keywords doing keyword keyword research for every single pin that I am launching on the platform and then a little While back I think was actually August of 2018. I do over YouTube video on this as well how to design redesign your old pins to get more clicks to them.
Basically how to re curate your content because I went back to some of my old blog post and I was really proud of them, but they weren't getting much traffic. So I decided to create new pins for each of those and now they're performing so much better on the platform. So I do have to say that going back through and redesigning some of my old pins making them a little bit updated a little bit more click worthy that is dramatically helped to grow the visibility especially of my old content and I talked about this a little bit but creating more pins that lead to your website does help the visibility of your website because if you think about it, if you only have 10 pans that lead to your website, you don't have much of an opportunity to really grow on the pictures platform when it comes to your website. You only have those 10 opportunities for someone to find you and that's not that great. So if you increase number of pins leading to your website more likely you are to have people actually five-year website sure. It comes down to your PIN design.
It comes out of your description comes down to just pinch SEO and a Other factors, but you really want to make sure that you have pins leading to your website and that's a dramatic change that I did for a while. I was only uploading one pin design at per blog post and sometimes the pin design obviously wasn't that great. It wasn't even that much traction based off the words that were included in it or something within the design. So I started creating two pins for each of my blog post and have to say that that is working so much better as well as just creating more blog post on my website. So I have more pins to share on Pinterest. I feel like this is a really fast crash course for Are you on how to grow your Pinterest account some of strategies that I used?

In this article we're going to some shady Instagram business. I'm going to go undercover to become a fake Instagram Guru and hopes to expose to the world once and for all what all these fake gurus are doing how they're buying fake followers fake Instagram engagement fake everything.
And how they're using that to unfortunately scam people. Yo, what's good. It's your boy B has a once again post it up in the stew. And honestly, I'm really glad you're here because we got quite the article today. I actually made a article a while back on what happens when you buy fake Instagram followers and a lot of people were interested in the topic.
There's there's a whole Cloud epidemic out there now, but this all goes so much deeper buying followers is one thing but I was just as surprised as I think you guys will be when I found out that some of these people are even going online and buying fake Instagram comments. And though I actually found out about this whole Underground Market for fake Instagram comments is kind of interesting.
Acting had one of these fake econ. Gurus follow me on my Instagram page, which is at be heads by the way, ahaha, that's off topic. But the point is I went on his Instagram account and off the bat I could tell he bought fake Instagram followers, which mean half of the people in the Instagram entrepreneur Guru space do so, I wasn't surprised about that. But when I went on one his photos, I was a little bit shocked I was a little taken back because it was a picture of him wearing a supreme shirt that even a non-high beast individual like myself who wears the same outfit. Today, even I could tell that it was a counterfeit piece of clothing. I mean it was bad. I wish I a screenshot of it. But when I went in his comments, you know, I was expecting people to roast this fake supreme, but instead I saw people praising him and talking about how cool his Supreme shirt is and that's when I knew that something fishy has to be going on here.
So went on Google and typed in by thick Instagram comments. It was a ton of different websites offering this exact service and more. So in this article, I'm going to go on these websites and purchase all the fake engagement. They have to offer show you guys how it just about anybody can become a fake Instagram Guru nowadays and hopefully you'll prevent somebody from getting scammed in the future on same as the last article I made on fake followers. I'm going to be giving this account away that I purchase all this fake engagement for it. I don't know maybe you wanted for kicks and Giggles do whatever you want with it.
I'm going to flash the password for it somewhere throughout this article. It's going to be small hard to find so be on the lookout for that. And if you find it, feel free to change the password do what you want with it. Okay. So let's jump into what these guys do Step 1 they make an Ceramic out. So I was going to start a brand new account like these guys do but I've made too many things pages in the past for my business to the point where I hit Instagram lemons and they'll no longer allow me to create new accounts for my IP address. I'm just going to use an account. I had laying around that not even sure what I was doing with it, but we'll just use it and convert it for this article.
Okay, so I secured the username not fake Guru so that nobody suspicious now it's time for the Bayou will most of these guys do we'll just put how much money they apparently make. Most the it's just make something up and they also might throw in a motivational quote in there. I'm going to put a fire Emoji here and put send figure eCommerce expert. Okay. Now I'm going to go down and add entrepreneurs. So everybody knows that I'm an entrepreneur now it's time for the motivational quote. I'm going to add a rocket emoji and say dream big ha ha ha. I'm also going to add a laptop in mogens. I've been a laptop lifestyle and then I decided you know what I can make sure everybody knows that I am.
In fact an alpha male and not a beta male. So I'm also going to have to add Alpha in here. So it was big super sarcastic about this bio trying to make it look as cocky and is As possible but looking at it from a distance, it actually doesn't look very different from what these guys are actually doing now time for the profile picture. I typed in guy using a laptop and tropics and let me see what I can find here. Yeah, I found this. It's one of the only pictures without a watermark. So I'm going to go with this. I'm just shocked at how much this resembles what these guys are actually doing.
I mean that profile picture really brings things together. Okay. Now, let's get into some popular examples of the type of content these guys Stand how they go about getting such content one of the most iconic and popular marks of the fake Guru has to be a fake Air B&B picture. They'll go out rent a house for one day. Usually something nice like a penthouse or something in the hills are on the beach and then the caption will talk about how they just bought this house for cash money. It's all theirs and you can have something like this to if you buy their course or mentorship program and it's just so cringe and hard to watch when you see people expose them and put up picture of the listing of the air B&B.
And then the fake gurus post of them talking about how they just bought this place. Another big one is rinsing Lambos or nice cars and then claiming that they just purchased the car. It's all theirs or they'll even go to the dealership take some pictures with the cars and not buy anything and don't even get me started on how some of these people will pay like two hundred dollars to go and take a picture in front of a private jet. There's been articles written all about this. It's just crazy with some of these people do but instead of actually going out and taking real fake group pictures.
I'm just going to photoshop them for the S of this article I was actually going to go out and have a friend take some pictures of me that I'll photoshop on these other pictures, but it's like 300 maybe. Yeah, it's 400 degrees outside. So I'm not going to be doing that instead. I'm going to film myself doing some different poses over here and then I'm gonna screen shot him from the article and use those pictures. Here are my garage just bought this new Lamborghini here. Okay, so just uploaded all of the pictures onto the Instagram account and I want to go through and show. The captions but I think the funniest part of this is that this page actually has a thousand real followers from what I was doing before with it.
So with those people are probably quite confused now as to who this guy is standing next to Jeff Bezos. It's already getting likes because the Thousand real followers are seeing it but here's the first post mies rocking the Gucci shirt with a caption just finished up speaking at an event in Brazil next up Tokyo, then we got Jeff and I giving Jeff some e-commerce advice. He was one of the first people to join my course just copped the lambo. So all cash you can't to just buy my course business calls. You already know. What's up. This was probably my favorite one.
I put in the caption me and Ty scoping out some real estate Investments. These are two good then I got ya. This is the last one. I put pretty hyped on this new Penthouse. So there you guys have it. We got all the content all the captions written out. So now we gotta buy some fake Instagram engagement and followers and all that scummy stuff. So let's go ahead and start with the followers. Yo, I just searched that up and literally the first thing that pops up before everything before all the ads before all the websites is my article. That's literally the first result. This is crazy. So on main on the buying Instagram followers experiment. Okay, so I'm going to go with this website over here. I'm not going to show the name of it because again cloud is not free, but I think I'm to go ahead and go this 2500 followers option for $30.
Okay, and I'm clicking pay $29.99. These guys better not steal my credit card information or I'm going to be a little disappointed at this point. A lot of these scammers will buy some fake Instagram likes in order to balance out there likes to follow a ratio. So let's do that. Okay. So the website I just bought the followers from also has like so I think I'm just going to go ahead and buy the likes from them as well since if I buy them from a bunch of different websites, I feel like there's more chances of my credit card information getting stolen. So I'll just buy the likes from the same website. Okay, so I gave them my Instagram login information and now it's asking me how I Disperse the 1000 likes. I think I'm just going to evenly disperse them amongst all of the posts. Okay, so that comes out to 166 likes per post next.
Okay. Now time for some fake Instagram comments. I'm really curious to see how this works. Okay, this website has an option for random comments or customized common. So I think we're going to try both of the options go to the random comments first ten comments for $3 next. Okay, so I gave him my Instagram login credentials now, it's asking me to choose which posts I want to comments on so I think I'll put the random ones on the Jeff Bezos and iPhoto. Okay, just made the payment for the random comments. Now, let's try the custom ones. It's the custom comments are twice as expensive. It's five for 297, but will still take it and I'll do the custom ones on this photo of Tai Lopez in I okay. So let's type these comments out. Okay. So all the websites I bought the fake engagement from told me that I had wait a little bit for everything to get delivered. So I waited overnight and now it is time we check in on this page.
Sir, sitting at 3583 followers and then we go on the posts. Each one has around 200 to 220 likes just because there are real people following this account. So they also like some of the pictures I'm not sure why but yeah, each of the post has around 200 likes and one of the real people actually commented photoshop on one of the pictures but let's get into the fake Commons that I bought. Okay. So first I want to go over the random ones and see what this generated system came up with we got someone saying this is so different your perspective is Refreshing you are nothing less than special magnificent looks so good proud of you. So great. Someone said beautiful hair. I guess these aren't random comments after all. And then we got someone saying inspiration with a bunch of emoji and then someone said magnifica way, which I'm going to assume means magnificent and Spanish or French. don't know but let's get into the customized fit comments that are bought. So actually got scammed on the custom ones I paid for five, but I only got four for some reason but let's go over the four. Wow, my two favorite people in one photo. It's the one of me inside Lopez by the way a sitting on the horse then we got The realest Guru nice horse and then we got not fake Guru help me quit my 95 and now I'm worth 500 billion dollars.
So this whole fake comments thing is what scares me the most because if you think about it, these fake gurus can probably get hundreds of these fake testimonials under their comments were nobody would even suspect that they're fake and now at this point after these figures get all their fake engagement their fake likes and followers what the lose find a popular business model search up some outdated YouTube articles on it and wrap it up and course They're going to start charging people like $1,000 for and then they usually start marketing this course through stuff like Facebook ads. And so when people see an advertisement that these guys make they go on their profile and all they see is a bunch of Lambos. see a successful person a successful person. They see the penthouse has the pictures with Tai Lopez and they think that the person is legit.
They have information that can help them make some money and they go out and buy these scammy courses and the craziest part of all this is how much some of these fake gurus charge for the courses. And mentorship programs. There's been victims of these scams that have come out and said that they spent like two anywhere from 10 to 20 thousands on these mentorship programs were the people the fake gurus were guaranteeing them results. And for the record. I'm not saying that everyone who sells a course is a fake Guru in a scam artist. I know I realize that there's some information that you just can't give away on YouTube for free because it's going to saturate the market for whatever business that person is in there are probably some real people out there selling real valuable information, but as we've seen with this article on the fake engagement, And that I bought literally anybody can become a fake Guru.
So if you're gonna buy like a mentorship program or course from somebody make sure you do your research extensively because I mean most of the time you can find better more updated and fresh information on YouTube for free. If you’re trying to grow your Instagram account and get more followers as quickly as possible, then it’s so important that you understand how the algorithm actually works because if you do then you’ll be able to actually work with it, which will enable you to grow much faster now real quick before I get into. How the algorithm works I just wanted to let you know how I know how the algorithm Works. Basically I run a social media marketing agency called SocialBazar24 and my team and I are constantly testing the algorithm to figure out exactly how it works so that we can get our paying clients the best results that we possibly can. Alright let’s talk about how this algorithm actually works.
Also what Is is the algorithm shows your post to a small percentage of your followers. So let’s say you had a thousand followers.
The algorithm going to show your post to probably somewhere between about fifty and a hundred of your followers and what the algorithm is doing is its testing to find out whether or not people like your post after that depending on how much the algorithm perceives that people are interested in your post. It will choose to show your uh post to more and more people.
So, how does the algorithm They’re not people are interested in your post. Well, this is mainly based on the engagement that the post gets and specifically normally the number of likes that a post gets now on different social media platforms different things are important, but on Instagram, it seems that the most important thing is first of all likes and second of all screen time.
So this isn’t something that we normally talk about when we’re talking about engagement, but actually how long uh someone looks at your post is going to determine how well the algorithm perceives that people like it and that will determine whether or not the algorithm will continue to show it to more and more people something else that you should understand is that the engagement that your post receives is actually a measured relative to the size of your audience.
So let’s say that you have a thousand followers and your post gets a uh hundred likes you might say. Well, there’s no way I could compare to one of say Kylie Jenner’s post that has thousands and thousands and thousands of likes.
Well, the reason that you’re able to is Has your engagement is being measured relative to the size of your audience. So Instagram is more looking at percentages to see what percentage of the people who it was served to actually responded positively what percentage of the people who your post was shown to actually looked at it for a longer period of time now after your post is shown to the uh initial segment of your audience.
The algorithm is going to measure how much engagement actually received and then determine how many more people to show it too. So assuming that your post received a good amount of Engagement the algorithm uh will then show it to another 10% or 20% of your following in the hopes that those people will also be interested in it from there the algorithm continues to show it to larger and larger segments of your audience until the engagement seems to be dying down and people don’t seem to be as interested in it anymore.
So that’s basically how the algorithm works for your posts being shown to your audience, but then let’s talk about uh hashtags and how that whole side. Things works as you probably know when you use a hashtag in your posts description that hashtag acts as a search term so that whenever someone clicks on of those hashtags or types in one of those uh hashtags, they’re served search results that are shown in that usual Instagram grid of posts that have used that hashtag in the past.
Now the post that show up when someone searches for any given hashtag aren’t uh random and they’re not just in a mixed up order. The algorithm has carefully sorted these so that the person who is Searching for that hashtag is most uh likely to see the post that they are looking for or post that are relevant to the topic that they’re looking for first.
Now, if you’re trying to grow your account quickly, then it’s really important that you get your posts up to the top of those Search terms those hashtag results because when you get closer to the top it’s more likely that people actually click on your post find your account and follow your account.
So in order to help you get up closer to the top of those hashtag results. I want to tell you the two things. That Instagram is using to determine the Sorting order of those posts. The first one is uh recency. So, how old is the post more recent posts are going to be ranked higher on those hash tag search results. The second thing is how good the engagement was now again, this is going to be measured relative to an accounts size.
So even if your post and get as many likes or as many comments as Kylie Jenner’s you still might rank above Kylie Jenner on that hashtag search if your post got a high Percentage of likes and a higher percentage of comments and more screen time for each person that Instagram showed your post to compared to Kylie’s post or any other large influencers post. Now as I’m sure you can see this really good news for you because otherwise none of us would stand a chance to compete with those really big influencers.
Okay, and then there’s one final aspect of the Instagram algorithm uh that I’m going to be explaining to you and that is how Instagram chooses which accounts to suggest to people Opal because this can be a great way for you to pick up followers when Instagram actually suggest your specific account to other people who might be interested in it. Now, here’s how this generally works when someone lets call them person. Number one likes an account. Let’s say count a and then life’s your account then with another person will call them person.
Number two likes account a Instagram will automatically suggest your account because someone who recently like that account also liked Account and so Instagram believes that maybe person to would also be interested in your account since person one was interested in both of these accounts as well. Now the more followers that you have in common with another account the more likely Instagram is to actually suggest your account.
When someone else likes that other account.
